New CVent Look

    I have a question about the new look to CVent, is it going to be optional or will it be thrust upon us?  The lack of any contrast on the pages and the layouts is very hard on the eyes creating eye strain.  Fixing some of the issues we have come across in CVent would be better than changing the look for the sake of changing a look.

    I believe this can only be enabled by your Account Admin if I remember correctly. Might want to check with your CSM.

    I totally agree. It's very clean, but it's very bland. There needs to be some contrast.

    I agree with this 100% The lack of contrast makes it difficult to process what I'm seeing.

    Hi all,

    Thank you for sharing your thoughts! We are targeting sometime in early 2021 to migrate all of our customers onto the new Cvent product experience. Until then, you will have the ability to 'try out' the new experience, provide feedback, and switch back at any time. We are excited to offer this new experience and roll out many other enhancements in the future and value your honest feedback.     Thanks for your question! Yes, accessibility is a cornerstone of this new experience, and future releases will meet WCAG 2.1 AA compliance.

    Déjà vu. The same topic came up awhile back. I installed a Chrome plugin to change the background. After a couple weeks I went back to the redesign and was totally used to it.
