Our event actually used a mix of live and pre-recorded. Our welcome remarks and closing remarks were live-streamed sessions utilizing the cvent video player (zoom). For our lecture sessions, we had the speakers pre-record their lectures and do a live Q&A after the pre-recorded lecture was played. This was done utilizing a collaborative zoom meeting. Our internal staff shared their screen to play the recording and then spotlighted the speaker for Q&A after the recording ended.
The sessions ran fairly smooth utilizing both live stream and collaborative zoom sessions. The key to making these sessions a success is ensuring your staff and speakers are familiar with zoom and its capabilities. I highly recommend reading the articles on hosting live streams and collaborative sessions in the cvent knowledge base. Thanks,Jillian
