  • 1.  Creating an event with no "check out"

    Recently I registered for the Cvent Quarterly Product Updates Webinar.  I entered my personal information and clicked submit - no check out process!  We have two free events this year and this would be perfect.  Does anyone know how to set up an event like this?

    Hey @Kim Abbott - first off, thanks for registering! We're so excited to see you there.

    I am the one that actually builds our Quarterly Product Update reg process so I am happy to ​weigh in here. If you have a simple reg process with no fees, all you'll do is just drag the widgets you need onto the canvas (i.e. contact fields, reg questions, etc), delete any other pages within the registration process that may have populated by default, and publish. Our QPU reg process is just a mix of contact fields and reg questions (I don't even include the Registration Summary widget).

    I tried to do this recently, but got an error saying the submit button can't be on the same page as the identity confirmation section.  Were you using Flex?​

    Hi @Caroline Livingston - I hope all is well!

    I had a Solution Specialist on our Customer Success team help me troubleshoot and he let me know that you can't have the Identity Confirmation widget on the same page as the Submit button when multiple Reg Paths are enabled​​. So, if you're leveraging this feature, that's what's throwing your error message.
