I've been using Cvent for 14 years and I've merged many contacts.
The usual reason is because a current member couldn't log in when purchasing membership so they start a new account with a different email and purchased a 2nd membership.
When I come across these I've just merged them and manually updated their membership expiration dates.
Now I'm doing that for a contact and I get this message: "You cannot merge contacts that both have an active membership."
I want to confirm that I can no longer merge 2 accounts for the same contact until one of the memberships expires?
