Hi Danni,
We are using a custom API integration between our membership system, Falcon, and Cvent. It was crucial for us to put something that updates automatically daily in place as only members can register for our conferences. We're not fully there yet to kick information from Cvent back to Falcon, but it's working well the other way around.
As for a wish, I'd like to have the Webex integration expended so that we can track attendance duration in the Attendee Hub. Right now we just paste the Webex links in the backend, but it would be lovely to be able to use the conditional participation based on attendance duration for our non-cvent integrated sessions.
Best,

Subject: What you can integrate with your Cvent event
Hello and welcome back to our next Tip of the Week! Switching things up a bit this week and sharing some general insights that you may not be familiar with to add to your Cvent licensing.
We have many integrations available, and we want to make sure you are aware of some of your options. If there is anything your systems can integrate with to streamline your event processes even more, we want to help you do so.
Travel:
- Concur Travel – Allow your registrants to book their travel through Concur. You can then retrieve their details in Cvent, report on their air requests, and control which invitees should have access to these travel bookings.
- GDS – View PNRs in Cvent by retrieving them through your GDS. Once retrieved, you can view matched and unmatched registrants, take action to match or un-match registrants, import PNR data, and report on this data.
- GetThere – Allow your registrants to make travel reservations at the end of the Cvent registration process in GetThere. Once it is completed in GetThere, the travel details are sent back to Cvent and can then be reported on.
- Passkey – Similar to GetThere however for hotel bookings, allow your registrant to make hotel reservations at the end of the Cvent registration process in the Passkey room block. Once completed in Passkey, the details are sent back to Cvent.
Marketing and Data:
- Marketo – Capture and integrate the data that's important to you. See all of the information in the Cvent Developer Hub.
- Google Analytics – Track the traffic to your event web page and learn how an invitee navigates through your website, how much time they spend on a page, and the pages that have the most traffic.
- Salesforce App – Allow your internal teams, such as the sales team, to add attendees to your Cvent events directly from Salesforce.
Custom:
- API – Use this integration to push and pull data between Cvent and your system. Data can then be transferred between the two on a scheduled basis.
- SSO (Single Sign On) – Secure access to Cvent by enabling SSO and sending users directly to Cvent without visiting the login page.
As you can see, there are many integration opportunities, and those are not even all of them! If you are curious about any of the above, connect with your Cvent Account Team to learn more. For any technical information, check out the Cvent Developer Hub.
Questions for You:
- If you currently have 1 or more integrations with Cvent, what is it and how has it improved your processes?
- Is there an out-of-the-box integration you'd be interested in Cvent offering that currently isn't available?
