We have such a small team (Marketing), that we do it all with really no assist from other departments. The only exception is that we do slice and dice our attendee data and provide customized reports for our sales team - these reports come from our research team, which falls under the Sales department umbrella.

Subject: Huddle of the Week #9: Departmental Collaboration in the Virtual Setting
Hi, Cvent Community! We're here with our next Huddle of the Week discussion. One aspect of the new virtual normal we have realized here at Cvent is how much stronger our partnership between marketers and event planners has become. There are so many responsibilities and tasks that are now closely tied together. With that said, hosting a virtual event and adapting your event program takes work. We want to hear how your departmental collaboration has changed during these times.
- Which department have you worked closest with during these times and your shift to virtual? (For a few examples, we have seen great collaboration in marketing, technology, and IT.)
- Which department do you expect to continue to collaborate with more, even when our industry returns to in-person events?
- If you'd like to share, provide one example from your organization's cross-department successes!
As always, feel free to share your experiences, thoughts, and feedback below! If you have any questions for your peers, always ask below, as well. #HuddleoftheWeek #VoiceIt
