    Hello - We cannot figure out how to email an invoice over to someone's admin for payment.  It makes us select a registered attendee to email without the ability to enter an email.... and then is someone else able to make payment without logging in? Help!

    Hi Jennifer,

    You are correct that within the system it will recognize the actual registrant to download and/or send the invoice too. Have you explored using the Administrator Registration feature for the future? This would allow an invitee to be registered by their admin, and then the admin would have access to make payments/receive emails/etc.

    For the time being, a few suggestions would be to: 
    • Download the invoice from the registrant's record and then email to the admin outside of Cvent. 
    • Create a custom email in Cvent with the invoice data tag, and within the Advanced Settings tab you can enable "Send an additional copy of the email each time it is sent" and select CC Email Address.
      • This would require adding the admin within the CC Email Address field for those required registrants.
    • The admin would not be able to access the Cvent registration and pay on their behalf unless they were provided the registrant's email address and Confirmation Number.

    Thank you - yes, we ended up just saving the PDF of the invoice and sending to the admin - the only problem is that we can't give them the link to pay that way because it will make them login to the system - any ideas on that? Issue is that it's their accounting department - they don't sign the people up - but the registrants just forward the invoice to them to make payment... we are seeing this more and more so it would be good if you could pay WITHOUT LOGGING IN.... is that possible?

    Hi Jennifer,

    Apologies for the delay on my end. At this time, it is required to log in with the Email Address and Cvent Confirmation Number in order to modify/complete payment/etc. An option would be to include the Cvent Confirmation Number and registrant email address on the invoice that you are saving as a PDF so that the admin can then access it on their own.

    Additionally, I would suggest posting this as an idea with the Ideation section of the Cvent Community! This will allow our product team to have visibility into your suggestions and other Cvent users to up-vote the idea if they agree.
