  • 1.  Register for Event - Book flights later

    ​​I need to have my attendees register early for the even to build a rooming list asap.  But I don't want them to buy plane tickets until the latter part of December.  I want to then capture those flights as well later. 

    What are suggestions to do that?

    Hi Lani!

    Yes, we do this as well.  We make the room reservations piece required at the time of reservation, but not the air actuals.  We put a note in the confirmation email with a link to go back in and enter it later.  Of course, we still have to do follow up on the missing ones lol!  There is a report which will show you missing air actuals so you can send a reminder :) .     Hate to stray off topic, but...
    We've been using Amex Global Travel to book flights outside of cvent.
    Are you booking flights through cvent?
    One of our events we pay for transportation.
