By now, you've likely seen Cvent's newer, more modern reporting platform throughout your account. Our Legacy Reports (think: the old Standard and Custom reports) will be retired soon (more deets on timelines below), so it's critical that you start adopting new Reports now!
New Reports are a complete revamp of the old reporting system. In the new Reports, data is collected and displayed in a more visually appealing way and allows for data to be quickly manipulated and analyzed directly within the Cvent platform. You can even display reports in different languages, time zones, and locales (all of which are not available in Legacy Standard or Custom Reports).
As of December 15, 2020, you will no longer be able to create new Legacy Reports in any event (whether a new event or a past event). Even if you copy an event with Legacy Reports built out, these will not copy over. Come mid-year 2021, any historical Legacy Reports will be removed across your account. To note: You will never lose any data within your events when we say goodbye to Legacy Reports, it's only changing the way you view this data! Even when your Legacy Reports are removed from old events, your event data is still right there for you to re-run in a new Report indefinitely.
Here are some of the top Knowledge Base articles to have in your back pocket as you start (or continue) to adopt new Reports:
