Hi all! We're excited to share our next Tip of the Week.
You may have seen last week's Product News post sharing details on our #CSNBusinessIntelligence: Actionable Insights Customization release. We would now like to share a few tips and best practices around how to get the most out of this new enhancement. Let's start by answering some of your questions.
Who can use this feature?
Competitive Set, Hotel Performance, and Enterprise Dashboard users can now benefit and customize and add new data to their environments.
What type of insights can you view in the dashboards?
- Your hotel's performance compared to goals
- Your hotel's performance compared to your competitive
- Overall performance of your competitive set
What metrics can you track?
- Your Average Daily Rate (ADR), Average Response Time, Awarded RFPs, Awarded Room Nights, and more.
- You have an option to compare the above metrics against your hotel's goal or against competitive set.
Note: These features will vary based on the type of dashboard you have access to.
Tips on selecting the metrics:
- Work with multiple properties in Cvent? Users can multi-select hotels they would like to apply to the insight. Create similar insights with different thresholds for certain groups of hotels.
- Keep what you need. Edit and/or Delete a pre-existing insight.
- Track your improvement. Set the threshold and update it as your metrics improve.
- Manage your insights. Apply the following filters on the manage insights page
- Hotel
- Type (primary hotel vs. competitive set, goal of the primary hotel, outlier, etc.)
- Metric (average response time, response rate, etc.)
