When working in site designer on a Flex layout I do not have the option to upload a graphic or create a folder for the graphic. The upload icon that is normally there is not there. Not grayed out or unclickable, it is just not there. I can edit text and delete text/graphics in the layout but am not able to upload any new graphics. It sounds like an account permissions issue to me but I am not super familiar with Flex. TIA.

Here is how you upload a graphic in site designer:

1. Hover over the place where you want to insert the image.
2. Press the plus sign to add a widget and select "Image."
3. In the right sidebar, click "Add image." 
4. Click the cloud icon with the up arrow at the top right corner.
5. Browse your computer or drag/drop the image. 
6. Select the folder you want to upload the image to and click "Upload."
7. Once uploaded, click "Continue."
8. Select the photo to place it.
9. Done!

Hi Krysten,
Thanks for your reply and for the steps. Normally that is what I would see when adding graphics to an event. When I logged in yesterday the cloud/arrow icon and the square/plus sign icons that are normally there were nowhere to be found. I tried all the normal things (restart, clear cache, different browser, etc) but to no avail. That is why I was thinking it was a permissions issue. Have you had any experience with this? Thank you!

Ahh, I see.  I've never encountered that before. Could you upload your graphic(s) from the admin module first, then go back to the site designer and add them? That seems like the simplest workaround, at least until the problem is fixed.
