Does anyone know if when working with multiple sessions there's a way to update the attendance for each one? Currenlty I don't see this as an option.

    Hi Giselle,

If you're looking to update participation for each session, you can do this individually or in bulk.

For individually, you can go to Attendees > Attendee List, then hover over Actions in the top-right and click Mark Participation. Click Participant Search in the upper left and switch "Mark participation for" to The following session. Click the ellipsis (...) and select the session, and click Search. Once the list of names comes up, check the boxes to the left of their names. You can select everyone at once by checking the top box in the checkbox column.
Click Update Participation. The No will be changed to Yes, and vice versa, for everyone you selected.

To import participation, click Attendees, then Attendee List. Hover over Actions in the top-right, then click Mark Participation.A list of all your registrants appears. Filter it by invitee status, participant status, or session by clicking Search. Once you've narrowed the list to those you want to mark as participants, check the boxes next to their names, then click Export Participants and open the file in Excel. In the Participant Status column of your spreadsheet, change the first No to Yes. Select the lower corner of the cell and drag it down the column to quickly change every No to Yes.

After modifying your data, save the spreadsheet as a text file (.txt) or Excel workbook (.xls or .xlsx).

Back in Cvent, from the left-hand navigation, click Attendees, then Attendee List. Hover over Actions in the top-right, then click Import Participants.

Choose where to import these participants (the event, a session, all sessions, or both), and select the appropriate radio button option.

Click Browse... to locate the file on your computer or network. Once you're done, click Next.

Map your columns to the Cvent fields using the dropdowns, then click Next.

The final page of the wizard shows your selections from the prior steps. If you need to make changes, click Previous. Otherwise, click Finish to import the file.

**As a note, these instructions are for the New Experience.

    Thank you!
