Great tips, thanks! I especially appreciate the best practice with push notifications, to make sure they are scheduled strategically and with thought about the recipient. During an onsite event, attendees are event-focused, but virtually their lives still go on, and taking into consideration when/how often/message content is key. It may be helpful to share the push notification schedule and content with another team member to get feedback.

Subject: Tip of the Week #12: CrowdCompass Online Event Guide for Virtual Events
Hello, Cvent Community! As the world continues to adjust to the new normal, we understand virtual events are on the top of your mind. We shared some suggestions for using the CrowdCompass mobile app to enhance your virtual event in a previous Tip of the Week, however since then our Cvent Product Team has made some incredible developments that we wanted to highlight.
The key enhancements have been made to the web-based version of the mobile app, the Online Event Guide (OEG).
- Promote the Online Event Guide through the default CrowdCompass invitation email. Be sure to provide clear instructions, especially if your attendees may be used to only downloading the app on their mobile device.
- We also suggest updating text in the invitation email to say, "Access Event" rather than "Verify Account."
- Add webcast links for each session! Through the OEG, the attendees will see a "View Webcast" button at the top of the session page. Additionally, the OEG will recognize the attendee's time zone, so no need to worry about hosting a global virtual event.
- Utilize existing features to provide even more details about the virtual offerings.
- Update the OEG event description to provide an overview of the event and details that are most important to your attendees.
- Customize push notifications to focus on the remote lifestyle! Keep in mind your attendees may have pets, kids, spouses, or general distractions throughout your event, so it is important to remind them of the next session's timing or significant announcements coming up.
For additional detail and tips, take a look at this in-depth outline on how to prepare your CrowdCompass app for a virtual event. Have you already hosted a virtual event using the Online Event Guide through CrowdCompass? How did you adjust your mobile app marketing promotions and communication? Let us know how it went and any suggestions you have for other Cvent users!
