When we host virtual sessions, we try to have several folks available to help answer Q&A and moderate the chat. We'd like a way to make it clear to our attendees that some of the folks posting comments work for our company.
I guess I could go in an add the company name to the last name of folks doing that but just checking to see if anyone else has come up with a better solution.

We had the same concern with our conference. We had pre-recorded sessions that transitioned into live q&a. Rather than adjust their name we had the moderators post a welcome message when the session started. This was helpful because it showed everyone that there was someone actively monitoring the chat. When our live q&a started we had our presenters remind everyone to head to the chat, ask questions, welcome the moderators etc. It worked really well for us.

I wonder if you can add a visible field that displays along with their name? Sounds like your solution is great!

We do the same thing! If we have people outside our organization we put our names and company name after it to denote a Q&A Moderator. If it is all internal we use our names and Moderator after it.

We have listed LastName, moderator on our contacts.  It worked well and as stated below we also welcome our moderators prior to starting Q&A.

    Hi Ginger,
We all just change our names to "DMA Events" so that they are aware the responder is part of the team. The exception is our business development folks - they prefer to use their name. I think that based on your question, I will ask them to add "DMA" to their name, though!
