    Hello all,
I am currently into the first FLEX event and getting myself familiarized with it. I worked in Classic for 7-8 years I'm guessing. Anyway, we sent out our registration invitation this week and we have had so many people to tell us they have not received it. I import our list from our Access database and when I run a email detail report it shows that the emails went out to the registrants. Our main attendees are government and I'm thinking maybe they have some filters in place that are not allowing them through. Has anyone had this challenge? if so, can you give me any guidance on how to ensure the registrants are getting the email invitation in their inbox? they are calling and complaining because they want to register but can't get the invitation. Any help would be appreciated. thanks!

Yes, I have had the same problem when our members use their school email address instead of their personal email address. As a workaround, I have been editing the Email Address field to Personal Email Address with the hope that this will help solve the problem. I realize it is too late for you to do this for your current meeting.

Thanks much for responding so quickly! so, just so I'm clear when you made that change in the email addresses that helped or are you testing that theory out currently?

I have been doing it for several months now and it does help. Sometimes, I also add text at the top under Personal Information that more or less suggests that they provide a personal email address. Our members don't seem to have a problem with it.

    Hello,

    Welcome to Cvent Flex!

The best way to alleviate this situation is to ask your customer if they can ask their domain admin to add "cvent.com" to the approved domain list or "whitelist", or if they are using a 3rd party spam email catcher, ask them to add the cvent.com domain to their "whitelist".

Sending to a personal address sometimes works unless their personal address provider has a spam email catcher, and then the above process has to be completed anyway.

    Best!
    Michael

Yes, your option is the best one. And, yes, sometimes the emails do go to the personal email spam folder. It's critical now, too, because people are looking for their virtual links to join a meeting. It gets complicated.
