  • 1.  speaker resource center, looking for advice

I was hoping to connect with those who are using the speaker resource center before we attempt to set this up.  We have 40-70 faculty and have been collecting files via email and I am hoping this option in cvent would help us streamline.  Anyone in the holiday spirit with a little bit of time to share what you have done and offer advice?

We have utilized the speaker resource center before; however, because of the amount of time and corrections of word count and language style that had to be made to bios /profiles, we load them ourselves. This article will help you get started in building that: Setting Up Your Speaker Resource Center Site (cvent.com)

Thanks for the insight.  I've looked over all the articles and have been setting up testing.  I was hoping to use this for collecting their proceedings/ lecture notes vs email and was trying to use this also for collecting other paperwork and central information, again vs email as we all know how it's hard to keep up with email.  It's the tasks I'm having a challenge with setting up but will keep testing.  thanks again.

There is a product called abstract management software that Cvent offers.

I am not sure how often you are utilizing the process below; however, this could possibly be the answer.

We do not use the software because the need vs ROI was not beneficial.

The abstract software: Cvent technology allows event organizers to crowdsource great content with an efficient Call for Papers process.

This modern solution enables organizations to manage the full process, from collecting submissions to publishing final selections into an agenda.

    Hope that helps.
