New to Cvent, where we are using the new Salesforce Connector to integrate Cvent to Salesforce for a non profit.
So far we have had great success integrating events, campaigns, campaign members and activities.
Our challenge is with Custom Data Tags, and a registration that is initially pending.
In Salesforce we spin up a business process using flows, this facilitates an interview with the attendee to see if they qualify for a free conference.
If so the registration is approved at no cost otherwise the registration is cancelled.
As part of this interview we need the data from the registration process associated with custom data tags.
Unfortunately, it appears that data does not come across on pending registrations.
Is that a configurable limitation, or has it been hard coded in Cvent to prevent that data from flowing over.
What other approaches could we use to get this data over prior to approving the registration?
I really like the Salesforce Connector App, it just seems like some things are not working the way they should. I am hoping this is due to our lack of understanding.
Seems like such a promising solution.
