  • 1.  How have you integrated your event tech with your martech while going virtual?

Hi all, and happy Monday! Ready for our next Huddle of the Week discussion?

Back in March we asked you where you start when it comes to utilizing your event data in your virtual events. It is no secret that the virtual event experience brings different metrics to focus on, no matter what your event goals may be. Many of you shared how you are focusing on attendance numbers, engagement in sessions through features like polls, and the overall quality of your digital content. Events during this environment have certainly brought the event planner and marketer closer than ever before – or maybe you are taking on new responsibilities in your role that blend the two together!

With that in mind, it brings up our next question, focusing more on the technology of that data.

    • How have you integrated your event tech with your marketing tech while going virtual?
    • Is there anything you/your team has implemented that you know you will keep after the return to in-person events?

Let us know your thoughts and experiences below! #HuddleoftheWeek #VoiceIt

    • How have you integrated your event tech with your marketing tech while going virtual? We've begun better tracking of our sessions and attendees. We now manage most of our event reach outs through marketo which kicks back to our reporting platforms and having one area where people register has helped to create better targeted marketing campaigns.

    • Is there anything you/your team has implemented that you know you will keep after the return to in-person events? Definitely finding ways to better track and report. We are also looking better at recording and deploying sessions we pour money into and making things available on-demand for further reach then forcing people to one specific time/date.

    • How have you integrated your event tech with your marketing tech while going virtual? We are tracking polling questions and utilizing questions to drill down information into companies on a more general level. We are reaching out to portenital attendees with quality content.
    • Is there anything you/your team has implemented that you know you will keep after the return to in-person events? We will keep polling questions on the forefront because it keeps the attendees interactive and feeds answers to general questions we can ask during the event and not during registration.
