Classic vs Flex Events

    Hello everyone,

    What is the best way to tell if an event was created in Classic vs. Flex? Do you know if Cvent tag's them so we can tell at a glance from our Events page?

    I've been wondering this myself, it would be helpful to be able to tell them apart in reporting. I know a custom event field could be added, but it would be quite a bit of work to fill in the values on each event.

    I just included it in the name so that I could tell very quickly which was which - EventName-Classic or EventName-Flex

    Great idea and will definitely start doing the same! But, first, I need to know the best way to tell the difference if they have already been created.

    I believe you would have to go into each event and check, then you can rename them by editing the title in Event Information.
    Flex Events - Click Website & Registration> Registration>Registration Process.  You should see the green Site Designer box in green on the top left.  
    Classic Events - Click Website & Registration>Registration>Registration Settings.  You will see tabs to edit across the top.

    Thank you, Jennifer! Sincerely appreciate your responses regarding this. Was hoping there was an easier way than having to go into each one. While our Classic events definitely outnumber our Flex so far, I know how important it will be moving forward to know the difference. Not to mention with 300+ events in our account, it would be nice for them to be tagged for reference.

    Hi Andrea,

    We reached out to our Client Sucess Manager at Cvent and she was able to pull a report that showed us which events were created in Classic and which events were created in Flex. I do agree, there is not an easy way to find this information without going into each event. I hope this helps.

    Thank you so much for your response! I knew there had to be a way to do this. I will see about getting access to this report. I did submit the idea on Friday as I do think this is an improvement that needs to be considered.
