Membership Items

Memberships are items associated with an invitee's contact that allow them to register for events. You can add these membership items to events using optional items to require invitees to have a membership in order to register, so they may purchase or renew their membership. Below are the features which are the pre-requisites for enabling the membership for the event.

1. Pricing/Fees
2. Registration type
3. Optional Items

Notes:

• In registration modification, we will not display the membership widget.
• For now, you will have to use data tags in order to communicate the duration of the membership for the post-registration pages. Meanwhile, we are working on adding the expiration date to the registration summary widget on those pages. FYI, it is working for the registration summary of registration pages.
• When associating a membership via optional items, we will create a contact type as registration type automatically for you, in the case it is not available in the event.
• For now, you will not be able to refund the price for membership during invitee cancellation from the planner side. You can generate planner side refunds from "Orders & Payment" page.
