I know that you can only have one payment gateway selected per event setup, however, I am at a quandary to collect CAD for local participants for a specific session. I was going to use CPS but they require exclusivity (which I don't agree with) and I need another option to collect CAD and have a check written to us for the amount received.

I see that you can use PayPal Express Checkout, but I don't have any idea how this works, nor is there good information on the help area.

Paypal is super easy to use. We don't have it connected in Cvent, but I have used it as a payment system in the past. Is Stripe an option for payment gateway (our events are free)? If so, I would recommend Stripe over Paypal... it has a slicker interface.

We have paypal connected to our Cvent for all payments. You can also activate offline payments and make the option be "check." This is a manual process to pull the financial report and see who owes money and invoice them as so.
