I am trying to bulk edit session visibility, but when mapping the fields in the import file to the fields in Cvent, I don't see a visibility session option to match it to in the dropdown on the right.

Bulk Editing Session Visibility – Currently, Cvent does not have a direct way to bulk edit session visibility. Each session must be updated individually. However, if you're working with a large number of sessions, using Session Import via Excel may be a quicker option to update settings in bulk.
Attendee Agenda in the Mobile App – If a session is fully restricted (with no registration types selected), attendees will not see it in their mobile app agenda. To ensure sessions are hidden during registration but visible in the app later, you can:
- Initially restrict session visibility during registration.
- Once the mobile app is launched, update visibility settings to allow attendees to view their assigned sessions.
Since your goal is to "unveil" the agenda when the app is activated, you will need to go back and edit session visibility settings once you're ready for attendees to see their schedules.

- If the session is restricted to where no registration types can view it, will attendees still be able to view the session in their agenda in the mobile app? Or will we need to go back and edit the visibility settings again?

Hi Claire,
You can keep the session closed so that no one will be able to register for it.
Additionally, you can restrict session visibility by going to Agenda & Speakers > Sessions, opening the session, and selecting Restrict Session Visibility >> Yes >> uncheck all registration types. This will prevent the session from appearing as an option during registration while still allowing your team to assign it on the backend.

For an upcoming conference, our internal events team will be selecting sessions for our attendees on the backend. Attendees do not have the option to select their own sessions, they just get added to their agenda by my team for viewing in the mobile app. But there are a few certain agenda items that they DO get to select (so we still need to have session selection in registration).
How do we fully hide those sessions that they are not able to select themselves in registration? While these sessions are successfully hidden on the Agenda tab of the website, I've selected every setting I can within the session list and they still show in the session selection widget in registration (see below):
