    Hi,

    I am getting ready to launch our first Cvent registration. This is for an international conference. As I understand it, if we collect mobile numbers using the Cvent mobile # field, then participants will automatically get login verification codes by text as well as email, with no way to opt-in or opt-out of getting these texts. This will be a useful option for some, but I am concerned that some international participants and travelers could incur charges for receiving these texts depending on their plan, country, and location when they get it. I don't know how data plans work in all of the different countries. 

    Has anyone else dealt with this situation and what was our experience? 

    I would appreciate any insights you can share!

    That may be true if you're using the mobile app, but not if you're using Cvent registration.  

    Are you using OnArrival for check-in onsite? That might be a consideration you can work around.
