Hi Hallie!
I only have one client that is utilizing branded apps right now, but the advice I received is to request a resubmission two weeks before the actual event so that you have an update right before the event starts. If you have a longer gap between when you release the app to the attendees and the event start date, I would schedule for two weeks before the app release.
Beyond that, it probably isn't necessary for other updates. However, at my previous gig, we released six weeks before the event because our attendees utilized the discussion boards a lot pre-event, so I probably would have done it before the release and again before the event.

Subject: Branded App Mobile Resubmission
Hi,
I'm excited that my company has elevated our visual branding and invested in a custom branding package. When it comes to resubmitting the branded app to the app stores, what are other people's best practices for resubmitting to stay up to date with new releases while coordinating the usage of the app for events?
Short of a jigsaw puzzle calendar/tracker, I'm finding it challenging to find the right window of opportunity between event usage and Cvent releases to determine when it is ideal or even practical to request resubmission.
TIA!
