    Hello all

    As newbie to Cvent I have an urgent question: where do I need to adapt capacity settings? I know three places but still I have an event, where people land on the waiting list, although the capacity is set correctly under event information, Registration types and Registration settings. Please help. Thanks.

    Which waiting list are they appearing on?
    Event level
    Session level
    Reg type level

    I think it is on event level. Both events in question have only one session.

    Did you initially set a capacity for any of the 3 placed?
    Event

    EDITED: Sorry, I didn't see Steven's response before I responded!

    Try checking your Admission Item and/or Session capacities and see if those differ from what you have set at the event level.

    Hi Johanna - 

    Although your capacity settings may look correct, you may also want to check your Registration Deadline Date (under Registration Settings) as well.  If you are past your Registration Deadline Date, people will be added right to the waitlist.

    Once you adjust that, it should work as expected.
