Job Description
Samaritan's Purse is seeking an Event Technology Specialist to join our team in Boone, North Carolina. In this role, you'll be the driving force behind successful events by implementing seamless event technology solutions, managing registration systems, and equipping teams across the ministry. In the role of Event Technology Specialist, you will have the opportunity to:
- Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
- Support the development of event registration and on-site or virtual experience for ministry events, including building, testing, and launching registration processes
- Assist with housing and travel management, mobile app content implementation, and custom event reporting
- Support the organization and implementation of event registration management systems and virtual event platforms
- Equip system users, including onboarding, training, tracking access, and supporting various event teams in Samaritan's Purse with understanding and adoption of systems
- Provide on-site event support as needed to ensure smooth execution of attendee registration across ministry events
- Maintain Event Technology team email inbox and calendar and serve as the first point of contact for event registration system support needs
- All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and at least two (2) years of related experience in event or database management; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Cvent certified in Event Management preferred
- Knowledge of event management software or database management
- Exceptional computer skills and strong understanding of web-based applications and database concepts
- Proven ability to manage projects and prioritize tasks to meet required deadlines
