I am making a game using gamification in the Attendee Hub for my event. What gamification features are the most fun for event attendees, and what gets the most traction with attendees?

    Hello Marissa,

    • For fun:
      • Taking photos at specific locations, with props, with a specific person, and posting it on socials.
      • Scavenger hunt - find the QR codes posted
    •  Not exactly fun.....
      • Asking questions during sessions, taking polls, and submitting surveys as a way to earn points.
      • I also like how at CONNECT viewing exhibitor's documentation (PDFs or links to their site) can earn points. If I do a little research before hand I know precisely which booths/exhibitors I want to meet with and talk.

I am trying to do a game as well where the attendees have to "find someone who is a twin", "find someone wearing pink" etc and upload a photo to earn points. I swear this used to be a game in Cvent and I can't figure it out anywhere... one photo per game section.... UGH

Hey Julie - I have done something like that in a game. I use Discussion chat for it.

The attendees will have to find another attendee with the same number on their badge as theirs then post a selfie with their buddy. One person gets the points for posting in the chat while the other buddy has to post who they are and their number to get points.

Other Attendees can earn extra points for "liking" with the emojis I select for them.

pro tip: make sure you limit/max the number of times someone can do something in a game challenge bc otherwise some attendees get fixated on earning more and more and the game becomes a distraction.

    Marissa,

To your question,  how do you set up the posting on socials part for the 'fun' aspect of gamification?, I don't think there is a way for postings on social media to earn points, but post a message on the main feed inside the app.  If memory serves, you can add your social media post/link into that main feed.
