Hi Amarnath, Krysten, and Heather,
Thank you for all of your feedback, and I certainly understand where you're coming from. As you all mentioned, eMarketing and Membership have not seen a lot of updates in the past few years. The reason being that our product team works on updates based on priorities expressed by our customers. We have seen that the majority of Cvent clients have more pressing needs related to other products, especially after the pandemic hit, so there is currently no roadmap to share for either modules. Some clients have also found ways to use the Event Management tool instead of or in conjunction with either module (eMarketing or membership) to fit their needs. You can speak with your Cvent success representative to strategize on your different options.
I strongly suggest submitting you feedback under the ideas tab in the Community because it plays a big role in what our product team uses to evaluate customer priorities. The more frequent an idea is submitted and/or the more updates an idea has, the more likely it is to get implemented as a future enhancement.
I hope this helps!
Best,

We too have been eMarketing and Membership module customers for 10+ years and have seen very few enhancements. We recently switched our monthly e-news over to the Events side just to be able to use the Flex designer.
I'm not sure it will make a considerable difference but thought I would link to the Idea page that I submitted back in 2019.
@Cvent - Is there any update you can share regarding updates to these modules on the Product roadmap?

I'm glad you brought this up. I've noticed some strange errors with the eMarketing module after one of Cvent's recent software updates.... Namely, the HTML editor now appears below the WYSIWIG editor, and when you click Edit, you cannot scroll up/down to see all of the code. (Screenshot attached... Is this what happens to you, @Amarnath Annamalai?)
We've been using eMarketing for several years, and I don't think it's ever been updated-nor has the membership module... So it is definitely outdated. The company seems to focus all their energy on the events side of the software, to the detriment of the other functions.

Hi There,
Is Cvent an outdated software? The HTML editor in emarketing doesn't look user-friendly. The HTML email designer shows the codes at the bottom. Also, it doesn't optimize the CSS for mobile view. The responsive email looks distorted when applying codes in cvent emarketing tool when compare to other email marketing tools such constant contact, mailchimp, etc. I raised this issue to one of the cvent customer support representative Mr. Joy 2 months ago. He too agreed the issue but I did not get any proper response from them yet.
