    Welcome back to our next Huddle of the Week!

    As we gear up for Cvent CONNECT 2023, we're giving you a sneak peek into all the exciting things that make our conference so epic in our Road to CONNECT video series!  From behind-the-scenes planning to unforgettable on-site experiences, this video series has got it all covered.     • What other Cvent CONNECT programs would you like a behind the scenes look into?  I would love to have visibility to your planning and load in schedule/timeline information.  How early do you start planning each CONNECT event?  When do you determine curriculum and line up speakers?  How soon before the event do you finalize and print your signage and printed materials?  How long does it take to load in an event of this size?
    • Do you have any questions for our planning or marketing teams that you want answered? Ask here and they may be answered in future episodes!  How do you approach the development of your curriculum for the event?  Do you base it what your design and product teams think your attendees need to know, on feedback from previous events, on surveys from your potential attendees about what they want to learn?  How do you balance having just the right number of classes at a beginner level and offerings at a more advanced level in order to engage new attendees and keep attendees coming back year after year?

    • What other Cvent CONNECT programs would you like a behind the scenes look into? I see you mention building the agenda but would love see more about how you manage content, structure, set up for each session. Finding speakers, getting their content in for testing and on brand, etc.

Do you guys decide internally what you want ot present on/how you build out your agendas or is there some consideration from clients/what people want to see discussed?

Do you have a program with the capability to keep track of members, if they've paid their dues, if they've registered for an event, and if they check in at said event. Then all of the data lives together and flows easily to see who is attending but not registering or vice versa who's registering but not attending.

Ask here and they may be answered in future episodes! - I always wonder about program tracking - do you plan for a 101 track, and expert user track, or do you build tracks around features/use cases instead? How do you handle scheduling things to keep people from having to make too many choices between sessions on the same track?

On a similar note - where do you get your ideas from and how do you go about finding ways to engage the virtual audience.  Hybird will always stay. In my case, I work for a state agency and sadly our budgets have been cut drastically so "travel" for conferences are getting less and less.  It's nice to have fun and interactive ways to still engage
