After a search in the community, I have learned that you cannot preview the attendee hub website the same way you can the event app... so there is really no way to see if everything looks/works the way you want it to, without publishing. From what I've read in the knowledge base, you can change pretty much anything after the site goes live, attendees are not automatically notified, and no links are added to the registration website or anything like that. This seems like the best way to "preview" the website.

Are there any drawbacks to publishing before it is complete? Could attendees stumble upon it somehow? Anything we should be aware of beforehand?

    Thanks!

Hi Krysten - not sure if this applies to the Attendee Hub Website - but it does for the corresponding Event app when we went live in order to preview/test.  The post event reporting built in Cvent starts the moment it goes live and can't be narrowed to when you officially launch it to your attendees/duration of the event.  So getting an event only report meant downloading spreadsheets and manipulating on the backend.  May be worth confirming with Cvent if that type of reporting is important to you.
