Does anyone know how to make the co-speaker widget automatically appear on the page-the fields are set as required but only appear after selecting the add speaker option.  We want to make sure at least one speaker is entered, required to be entered.

    Hi Bonnie,

I guess someone from Cvent would have to confirm this, but I don't think that its possible to have it appear automatically. Since the module is designed for the submitter to be the first author, and some don't have more than one, the action would physically need to be taken for them to click to add another one.

That said, for our abstract submission, we have some people who are submitting on behalf of the author, and we need the complete list of authors in a particular order, so we put a lot of extra verbiage in to make Step 1 be about entering the SUBMITTER'S details, then Step 2 being enter ALL Abstract Authors (including the submitter again, if applicable).

It's not ideal, but it was the only way to set it up.

    Hi Bonnie,

    Hope you are well.

I reviewed your query and also checked about it.

Unfortunately, as of now, the option to prepopulate Co-Author fields is not available. As Tori mentioned in her comment, some authors might have co-authors and some might not have them. Anyone who has a Co-Author will click on the button appearing on the page and will add the co-author details.

For now, you can increase the size of the button on the page within the abstract site designer so that the authors do not miss out on seeing that button to add the details.

Additionally, I understand your perspective and apologize for any inconvenience. But, it sounds like a great feedback. I suggest you to post this as a feedback/idea by going to Cvent Community > Participate dropdown > Product Ideas.

We encourage you to always submit your ideas or any challenges you face while working with the product. As it also help our Product Development team to review the possibilities and if it works we may try to incorporate such changes in our future releases.

    I hope this helps.
