Thanks for your post! I took a look at this case and it appears that those individuals that were listed on both the waitlist and the accepted list tried to register with two different email addresses. Our system uses email address as the unique identifier so if they are inputting a second email, Cvent doesn't know that they are the same person.
You can merge contacts within the address book of your account. Please reference this article.
