- Registration-specific questions – it makes it so much easier to get the information from the proper individuals without cluttering things up with a whole bunch of "n/a" answers.
- Using a mix of registration types, admission items, and registration paths to provide the most comprehensive registration experience for different attendees – simplicity is the key for the user side, but sometimes that means leading them through a more personalized process that can be more complex for the builder.
WHAT TO AVOID –
- Sites that aren't mobile-responsive – I love to give my clients sites with a more artistic look but it's important to check that the pages are just as clear and comprehensive when viewed on a mobile device as they are on a desktop.
- Rush builds – any site that is built with no time for registration process thought or especially, testing, is bound to find issues after launch!
