    JOB TITLE – Registration Manager

EVENT DESCRIPTION – Promotional Campaign for Incentive Event

EVENT DATES - March to September

    PHASE OF EVENT PLANNING: Pre-event

    TYPE OF EVENT - In-person

    WHAT WORKED FOR YOU

Creating excitement! We achieved that through short and enticing verbiage, fun facts, images of the destination and activities, and videos.

Incorporated our event website. As the various emails with new exciting topics were sent, a new page was launched on our website. The website would be an extension of the email content and excitement.

    WHAT TO AVOID

Too much content. Avoid sending too many emails and bombarding attendees with too much information. This will help attendees sort through important information later.

Inconsistent branding. Keep your colors, layouts, and branding consistent. Inconsistency may cause miscommunication and brand confusion that could lead to program information confusion.

Hi @Nicole Hayford, thank you for sharing! This sounds like the recipe for success. You have limited window to tell your story so I can see why short, to the point messaging is important, fun facts for the inquisitive minds to keep reading, and of course images can tell a story all on their own.

And by the looks of it, you struck the right balance with content and communication.
