We haven't been using the Speaker Resource Center--took it to our internal customers and they weren't interested. Only now they are. Having read the documentation, it seems like this is the division of labor:
- Web builder -- Set up the Speaker resource center templates or the sit.
- Planner -- Adds the speakers to the event and manages their work (sets reminders, etc.)
- Requester -- Provides the list of speakers and their contact info.
It also looks like the speakers register at the SRC, rather than the reg website, so you'd need a different registration path and type for them.
Do I have this more or less right? How much work does this add to the builder and planner?
Also, I think we'd like to push as much of the work to the requester or their team and create a center of excellence approach. Would that seem appropriate, or a recipe for a disaster?
Thanks!
