  • 1.  Using the Free Survey to Facilitate Continuing Education Certificates

    We use the free survey to send to attendees who have requested continuing education, as part of the requirements to offer CE.

    However, we currently have to manually make a list of those requesting CE and cross-check it with whether they were on for 50+ minutes and answered at least 3 poll questions.

    Then, we have to upload a new list to Cvent of just those people who me the requirements.

    Then, we send the "please fill out our survey" email to just those folks. Once they complete the survey, they are automatically sent their certificate.

    Has anyone been successful in connecting the dots more than this to remove manual processes - with the FREE version?

    Hi Lori!

    There isn't really an automatic way to do this as you will need to make sure your attendees meet the criteria you mentioned above. I would actually recommend working with your Account Team on best practices here and to see what they might suggest. There are a few options where we can mark participation based on session duration, but it depends on which features you are using in the tool. Based on the participation status, you can then run reports to see who answered poll questions and send the survey out to those people. It will still be a little manual, but more automatic than what you are currently doing.
