Hi Barry,
We have a setting within the Registration Path Settings that asks how you want to refund registrants if they switch their admission item. You would want to switch this to Amount Based on Refund policy, and then make sure you have a refund policy set in place for the in-person admission item. Within the refund policy, you can setup a cancellation fee to charge anyone who cancels/modifies after a certain date.
This cancellation fee would apply to anyone that cancels or modifies and in-person admission item, not just those that modify.
Hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any questions!

Subject: Adding a Fee for Changing Admission Items
We have events where there is both an In-Person and a Webcast option. Each are set up as Admission Items.
Our issue is that we have is people who register for the In-Person option and at the last minute want to switch to the Webcast option. When this happens, it requires a little extra administration time on our part and we may still owe some F&B money due to the catering "guarantee".
What I would like to do is impose a small fee for people who want to transfer from one admission item to the other after a certain date (typically one week out from the event).
Is there a way to add a fee that is only imposed upon changing admission items and only imposed after a certain date?
