Good Afternoon, 

I am in the middle of creating my event and am trying to set up for an area for someone to request to cancel their registration and receive a refund but I am unsure of how to add this to my event.

Hi Tara,

On the confirmation page, you can drag over a "Cancel Registration" widget onto the page and from that widget, select when cancellations will be allowed until. That button will take them to the Cancellation Form, which you can modify on the left panel under "Other Pages."  If you have a refund policy in effect (set up under the pricing tab) it will give them refund information as well.
