  • 1.  {[C-EMAIL]} tag erro when saving email template

    Hi,

    We are running a second event in a series from a dupicate of the first event.

    When editing the Event Reminder email template the {[C-EMAIL]} tag in the default footer is causing an error that stops the email template from saving. The template was fine in the previous event, in fact it is the one set up by Cvent for Dell. In fact the error message appears to dislike all tags in the footer, corrupted when duplicated maybe?


    Any advice appreciated if this has happened to you before.

    UPDATE: Just checked the previous event and the same issue is there also. These were fine when we built and ran the event 3 weeks ago. Have tags changed?

    This has happened to me before. I had to create new emails and copy everything over to get them to work again.

    Thanks Angela. I tried this also but even if the content block is removed it still throws an error. Concerning that thisis also affecting previous events that were fine but now have the same issue. I have reported to Cvent support.

    Some data data tags are different from invitee and guest.

    Thaks Steven. These are the same tags always used in the reminder email to registered guests. were fine before but now broken.

    It looks like you have some custom tags in the previous event that might not have duplicated over to the new event.
