This could be because of the user settings for your login. I would recommend contacting an administrator on your account, so they can either update these settings for you or perform the action you need for this event.

Using the new experience UX, I do not see the following choices.
Create Contact Type in the Select Contact Type window
The Data List option when Admin is selected
Am I lacking some features? What should I do?
