If you are following these steps to send a test email to your self, in that case, you should receive Plain text and HTML email.
Go to the event> Emails> Event Emails> Send> Select 'Test'> Select the recipient> confirm test send.
Note: Test emails are not tracked in email-related reports. Links in test emails do not work. They are only available to see the look and feel of the email design.If you go to the event> Home> Click on Actions > Select 'Perform Test'> Test event myself> Email> select the email > Start test.
You will receive only one email (either HTML or plain text version as per what is supported by your mail box).
In case, you are unable to receive the emails, check you Junk folder or clear caches and cookies, then test the emails again.

Hello,
I created an email the same way I always do.
I always send a test to myself and I get both the HTML and Plain Text Test.
Today I've sent myself the test at least 4 times and I only receive the Plain Text version.
Did something at Cvent change?
Is there somewhere to indicate which email version you want sent for tests?
