Our company has been using Cvent since 2020, first for virtual, then hybrid events.  We've also used a2z by Personify for many years to manage our exhibit floorplan, contract booths, and take payments.  We've found that there is a lot of redundancy between these two systems and it's not ideal for our exhibitors to have to log in to two separate sites, plus we aren't using a lot of a2z functionality that we pay for. We love the Cvent Exhibitor tasks, exhibitor registration, and how everything integrates with our app but haven't found a good way to have a live floor plan to sell and contract booth sales using Cvent.

How do you manage your exhibit program in conjunction with Cvent?  What SaaS do you use and love that might integrate a bit better?  I believe Cvent has some integrations with MapYour Show, has anyone used it? Our contract with a2z is up for renewal so I want to make sure that we have the best systems in place moving forward!

    Hi there,
I'm not sure if you are referring event floorplan/exhibitor's floorplan, but I saw some articles and learnt that Cvent has it's product for creating interactive floor plan design tool / application something called Social table I guess. I'm not familiar with that! You can read about that or get in touch with Cvent product team to learn more about it.

I don't know that this is possible. I looked up some knowledge base articles on the Exhibitor Management system and Event Diagramming, but none of them seem to answer your question about having a floor plan that allows for exhibitor booth reservations. I thin this will need a response from Cvent staff to find out if this is possible.

    Hi Amy,

This is a great question! While Cvent doesn't have a specific feature for a live floor plan, you can use the Floor Plan feature that is part of the Event App, to upload a map of your tradeshow and add pins for different Exhibitor locations. This will allow your attendees to see where each exhibitor is once they arrive onsite. In regards to selling the actual booths to Exhibitors, we recommend a few options - you can repurpose sessions and label them as booths only available to the exhibitor registration type, or you can use optional items as booths as well.

If you have questions on setting this up, I would recommend reaching out to your account team as they can help walk through best practices and loop in resources to help as well!

    Thank you!
