  • 1.  File Bulk Upload to Media and/or Document Libraries

    Is it possible to do a bulk upload of files to the media and/or document libraries? For example, at our event we conduct elections for association officers. Each candidate provides a head shot (jpg) and information piece (pdf) that's added to our event website. There can be up to 30+ candidates. It would be nice to do a bulk upload of jpg and pdf files instead of having to add 60+ files one at a time. 

    Any insight/suggestions appreciated.

    I don't believe this is possible, but ohhhh, if I am wrong, someone please chime in! I would definitely like to know how as well!!

    Hi Tracy,

    Thank you for your question!

    Unfortunately, this is a current limitation of the platform. As a workaround, you can utilize the legacy email designer by going to Admin > Template > Email templates > Content > insert > media library > bulk upload images.

    I would recommend sharing your idea in the ideas section of the Community! Our product team evaluates these submissions all the time for product enhancements.

    Hi Tracy,

    Hope you are well!

    Currently, the direct option to upload the files to media/document library in bulk is not possible. However, there is an alternative that you can use to upload the files in media library in bulk :

    We can use an email template to upload all images in one go. To do so, begin by going to the App Switcher > Admin > Templates > Email Templates > Create Email Template > insert basic information and click Next > on step 2, click on the Insert tab and select Media Library > create a folder > click on the Upload option and open the folder that has all the images > select all images and click Open > click Continue > now close the window and go to Libraries > Media Library under Admin.

    All your images would be uploaded in bulk.

    I understand your perspective and apologize for any inconvenience. But, it sounds like a great feedback. I suggest you to post this as an Idea/feedback for our product team by going to Cvent Community > Participate > Product Ideas. 
     
    We encourage you to always submit your ideas or any challenges you face while working with the product. As it also help our Product Development team to review the possibilities and if it works we may try to incorporate such changes in our future releases.
