    Role Description

    This is a full-time, on-site role for an Event Planner based in Marietta, GA. While the position is primarily on-site, the Events team offers flexible work-from-home (WFH) days when clients are not in the office, based on scheduling needs, generally one-day a week can be a flex day. This role has the opportunity for travel.

    The Event Planner will be responsible for:

    • Managing client office visits for TV, Radio and VIP clients

    • Planning all aspects for internal training events for 30-60 clients / 6 per year

    • Reconciling event costs and maintaining accurate records of office visit expenses

    • Managing registration builds and processes using Cvent

    • Providing general event support as needed

    A successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to thrive as a collaborative team player. They should be self-motivated, capable of working independently, prioritizing tasks effectively, and seeking input from team members to meet deadlines.

    Qualifications

    • Associate or bachelor's degree in hospitality, or a minimum of 3 years in a related field.

    • Experience being the lead planner on Events that include managing Air, Ground, Hotel, F&B.

    • Cvent Registration Certification or a minimum of 2 years of experience working in the platform, including building event registrations with sessions and managing event reports (preferred).

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and collaborate with team members to resolve questions and meet deadlines.

    • Proven experience in event management, budgeting, and logistics.

    • Exceptional time-management and organizational skills.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Excel expertise is required.

    • A polished professional with strong personal presentation skills to confidently engage with VIP clients.
