Google Search Console Verification - Root Domain

    Has anyone successfully submitted their site to Google Search Console? 

    When setting a custom domain up in CVENT and then getting ownership verification with GSC, they provide a few different ways to verify. Unfortunately, I cannot Upload and HTML file nor add a DNS record.

    I have Google Tag Manager set up, as well as Google Analytics (both ways that you are able to verify ownership), however I have no way to put those on the Home page because the home page template is the Event Search page and it does not allow for code snippets.

    Alternatively, if I set up any other page as my home page it changes the URL structure to include "/...", so that does not work either.

    Any suggestions are much appreciated!
