  • 1.  How do I delete a User that is associated with an API user?

    I have a user in my account that I need to delete; however, the delete button is greyed out and the message advises that the user can't be deleted because they are associated with an active API user.  Any ideas how I delete this user?

    Hi Ali,

    Hope you are doing well!

    It is generally advised to keep the user inactive in order to retain any data that may be required in the future. However, if you truly wish to delete the user, one option is to associate the API with another user. Can you please confirm if you still wish to delete the user?

    Hi Ali,

    I understand why you want to delete the user. In this case, Cvent can go ahead and reassociate the api user on the back end with a different user, and then the user can be deleted as expected. Could you please confirm the username that needs to be deleted and if we have your permission to do so? Also, your account number is SIGCA001 , correct?
