Hi Cvent Community,
For many teams, the work after a meeting request is approved still means starting vendor sourcing from scratch-copying dates and attendee counts into Reposite, rebuilding project details, and tracking venue/restaurant/service RFPs in separate spreadsheets.
A new enhancement connects those dots. You can now:
-
Use Create Vendor RFP directly from an approved Meeting Request to spin up a Reposite project with key details (dates, location, attendees) pre‑filled.
-
See all related RFPs in an Associated Vendor RFPs table on the request's Links tab, including status (draft, active, inactive, awarded).
-
Jump into Reposite with Go to RFP when you need to review quotes or update awards.
This shift moves vendor sourcing closer to where demand is captured, helping reduce swivel‑chair work, keep RFPs "on the record," and lay a better foundation for reporting on vendor activity across your meetings program.
Let's discuss!
-
How does vendor sourcing work today once a meeting request is approved in your organization?
Where do you see the most manual copy‑and‑paste between tools?
-
What would make the "Associated Vendor RFPs" view most useful for you and your stakeholders?
(Think fields, filters, or status indicators you'd want at a glance.)
