Hi everyone, we are halfway through the week. That means it is time for the next Tip of the Week discussion! With all the hard work that comes with events, it's good to know that managing registrant/attendee profiles is one of the easy tasks ahead of you. Please read below to find tips for managing registrant/attendee profiles on the Attendee Hub Website and Event App!

    • Attendee Hub List Overview: In Attendee Hub, the attendee list is the main networking page on your Attendee Website and Event App. From the list, web and app users can see who else is attending the event and view their contact details. You'll be able to configure how the list will appear, including if attendee profiles should be hidden or visible by default, and if attendees with similar interests should be recommended.

    • From the Attendee Website, attendees can click the Attendees tab, or hover over Community and click Attendees from the dropdown, to access the attendee list. In the Event App, they'll tap the More tab at the bottom of the screen, then Attendees. They'll be able to sort the list by first name, last name, company, or job title.

    • From the list, attendees can click or tap into the profile of anyone they want to know more about. On an attendee's profile, they can see the attendee's name, title, company, bio, profile picture, and links to their social media sites.

    Hi Megan,

It's super exciting to see the Attendee Hub features keep growing and diversifying. Allowing attendees to manage their own profile is a big one. For example, people often will not capitalize their own name properly in registration, and then ask us to change it for them.

One thing that's still missing is the bility for people to indicate their pronouns, especially when the profile will be shared with other attendees. We've seen people use the suffix field for that, but obviously it's not really what it was designed for. Besides, we already ask (as an optional custom contact field) for their pronouns as part of registration, so we can put them on the name badges.

    Cheers,

Upvoting the request personal pronouns as a standard field, similar to credentials/designations. Also, align with US Passport data capture and include non-binary option wherever gender data is being captured.

      • I have used it in the past to create different groups of people to send targeted push messages (ie staff, speakers, sponsors, attendees)

I think the biggest feature I started using is allowing people to manage their own profiles - that way I don't have to correct or manage that information between registration and the event; I've got other things to worry about than people using all CAPS or not capitalizing proper nouns!

We unfortunately don't use attendee hub but all of these features and functionalities sound great!

Def. upvoting the pronoun request! Would be great if we could include that in small font on the badges.
