Hi Everyone! We know that this transition from CrowdCompass to Attendee Hub is a big impact for many of you, so we thought it could be helpful from now to the end of the year to give some helpful tips and best practices from questions we are hearing a lot. We'll come back every week with a new topic and hopefully it helps you learn something new about our Attendee Hub Event App and our mobile experiences.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you loved the Activity Feed from previous mobile app solutions as a way for your participants to share their experiences, then check out Discussions in Attendee Hub Event App! With Discussions, you can create not just one, but many feeds for your participants to share photos and converse with others before, during, and after the event. Your main feed can be featured on your home screen for better accessibility and engagement.
We recently released the ability to pin a featured discussion to the home page or top of the Community page in the event app. You can use Home Screen Scheduling to decide when and where to display this Featured Discussion. This allows you to choose multiple discussions to be featured and increases accessibility and engagement throughout the event.
We have also enhanced our Discussion feature compared to our previous mobile apps. A few highlights include
- Add a range of reactions to someone's posts including likes, emojis, hearts and more
- Ensure attendee safety by adding moderators who can delete offensive or spam posts
- Post up to 10 pictures at once
- Ability for attendees download photos
