    Hello To all!

Does anyone know if it is possible to set up tasks automatic reminders to be sent once the task is overdue? If so I would love a link to a step-by-step please as I am fairly new to Cvent.

Not sure if this is meant to be on the exhibitor manager side and in exhibitor management or elsewhere? Might want to specify a specific solution you're trying to use.

If it's in exhibitor management the bottom of this article looks like task reminder emails exist. I'm not sure you can 'automate' them but you can bulk send during the due date:

    Hi Regina,

    Hope you are well!

Could you please elaborate which task are you referring to?

If it is regarding Exhibitor tasks, then you can either send a reminder from within the exhibitor portal > tasks, or, you can go to the event > Emails > Exhibitor email > Task Reminder email > edit > Scroll down to Send Settings > Select 'Send this email' : At the following date and time > add the date and time after the due date of the task is over > scroll down and select if you want to repeat sending this email until the task is still open for the exhibitor and save the changes.

Similarly, if you are referring to the Tasks created under Speaker Resource Center, then again, you can either go to the event > Speakers >Speaker Resources > click on the drop down next to each tack and send a single task reminder email or you can go to Emails > Speaker Emails > Create email (at top right) > Select the email creation method > Select other settings > scroll down to 'Send Settings' > select 'Audience' as 'Speakers and Speaker Administrators with incomplete tasks' > Select 'Send this email' : At the following date and time > add the date and time after the due date of the task is over > scroll down and select if you want to repeat sending this email until the task is still open for the exhibitor and save the changes.

As of now, there is no way to automatically send a task reminder for the incomplete tasks. You can schedule the email to go out post the task due date to all those who have not yet completed the task. Also, these tasks reminders will be created for all the tasks which are due and not for a single task for now.

Planner alerts are another way you can get triggers to remind you to do certain activities or take action regarding different parts of registration.  When someone accepts, declines, submits for travel, etc.  We utilize them greatly in our account.

    Hi Amy!

Thank you for your response. I'm currently assisting with event planning and have a few follow-up questions:

    1. Where is the 'planner alert' function located.
    2. Is there a way to automate emails to specific groups of people? For example, I would like to send a bulk registration email to individuals who have received a previous invitation but are marked as 'viewed' or 'no response.'
    3. Additionally, is there a method to track when the last email was sent to someone, so I can reach out again without having to manually find each individual?

    Thank you so much!

If you are creating it within event - unfortunately you have to load in all those tasks for each event. However, you can set a reminder based on some of the event specific date (reg close, archive, etc.)
